Pashinyan about pre-war negotiations and "avoiding" the war:
The idea that a flexible foreign policy could have avoided this war is being constantly circulated. Those [former officials] who believe in this thesis must answer at least one question: as a result of their "flexible" policy, why was it not possible to avoid the war of 2016, which was preceded by the unprecedented escalation of 2015 and 2014? The "flexible" policy adopted by Armenia for many years led to the introduction of Russian proposals in January 2016, which proposed the return of 7 territories (5 + 2) without any legal status for Nagorno-Karabakh. Why did Russia make such an offer? For one simple reason, as a result of Armenia's "flexible" policy, the Madrid process had come to a standstill because Artsakh could receive a Status outside Azerbaijan only with the consent of Azerbaijan. It was obvious to Russia and everyone else that Azerbaijan would not agree to this, so it was necessary to find ways to break the deadlock. And, by the way, if certain people claim that Armenia's foreign policy after 2018 was not sufficiently pro-Russian and this was the reason for the war, then why in the conditions of the "sufficiently pro-Russian" policy of 2016 were Russian proposals born and why did the April war take place? There was only one way to prevent this war: return the regions and forget about Artsakh's legal status. Now, after the war is over and we know the outcome, the number of supporters of [giveaway of 7 regions] is growing. What they forget is that if we gave away the lands to avoid the war, we would have the same situation in Syunik borders. They used to accuse us of "selling lands" [he means the contradictory statements like Nikol sold the lands, and why didn't Nikol sell the lands earlier to avoid the war]. The biggest failure by the supporters of the "flexible policies" is that they spent years trying to avoid a war instead of preparing for it. Our biggest failure is that we weren't able to recover enough embezzled public property in the past 2.5 years to help us better prepare for the war. https://armenpress.am/arm/news/1039231.html
businesses owned by opposition leaders
What are the known businesses owned by some of the famous people you might have seen in the public square lately?
20% share in Lorva Amrots Ltd which plans to operate two hydro-power plants on Dzoraget river. Manukyan purchased the shares in 2011 after being appointed by Serj as the head of the Public Council. In 2015-2016, he owned 30% shares in Vanavka Group. In 2015-2017 he had 30% shares in Jermakunq Group. These companies extracted and bottled water. At the time, the director of these companies was charged with illegal bottling and causing ֏55 million in damages to the state. The corruption case was sent to the IRS, which terminated the investigation after "not finding a crime". The companies export the products mostly to Russia.
Vanetsyan is a poor boy, according to the public declarations database. But if you have time, take a look at the investigative report I covered in Ap29/2020 news, according to which Vanetsyan's family allegedly used offshore firms and owns mining shares. More on that here. Here is a Hetq investigative report. Vanetsyan's father owns AV Group flower importing business. About a year ago, the police investigated several flower sellers near a stadium. An opposition outlet claimed that the sellers were "beaten and forced" to testify that Vanetsyan's father was running an underground business. This was never properly proven and the opposition's claim that Vanetsyan was about to be charged did not happen. The police confirmed that there was an investigation against several flower sellers. These flower sellers ended up hiring Vanetsyan's co-party-creator Arsen Babayan as a lawyer. Vanetsyan's father owns 50% shares of A B Export oil import company that began operating in 2017. It was a minor player that quit the market in 2019. Vanetsyan's father also owns 60% of A B Trans transportation company. In Nov/2019, CivilNet wrote about Arthur Vanetsyan's cousins' possible involvement with Zangezur Copper factory (massive business). The same offshore firm in Cyprus, which purchased Zangezur shares, was tied to Vanetsyan's cousins' another business in the same offshore. Vanetsyan's cousins also own a Switzerland-based Exoil wholesale cooking oil and shipping company. In 2019 it had a revenue of $148 million (11 billion Rubles). The cousins don't do this business in Armenia. Per 2019 registration, Arthur Vanetsyan himself owns one apartment, $10,000, and ֏1 million. Media reported in May/2020 that Vanetsyan's cousin purchased a ֏300 million mansion in Yerevan, which was donated to then-new political party "Hayreniq", co-founded by Arthur Vanetsyan and Arsen Babayan (the guy who is accused of helping HHK to fabricate documents in 2018 to hijack the Constitutional Court by appointing HHK MP Hrayr Tovmasyan as a judge). Arthur Vanetsyan's mother served as the chief of the personnel-management department in Serj and Pashinyan administrations, before quitting and working as Serj's aide. Vanetsyan's wife owns Villa Montessori preschool in Yerevan. She also runs the Young Education Center Ltd.
ARF Ishkhan Saghatelyan
Pashinyan appointed Saghatelyan as Gegharquniq governor for a brief period after the 2018 revolution, when Pashinyan created a unity-government, represented by all political parties. The honeymoon soon ended and each party went their way. Saghatelyan owns shares in i-mega Service Ltd. It's a tourism agency founded in 2006. It operates in Armenia, Artsakh, and Georgia. Saghatelyan founded Navasar company and serves as director. It's owned by his father. Saghatelyan family owns the Tsovasar hotel complex on Lake Sevan shores. It's 10,000 m2 (a hectare?). As of 2018, Saghatelyan declared ownership of 8 pieces of land, 2 apartments, ֏18.5 million, $45,000, and €15,000. Saghatelyan's father is the mayor of Gegharquniq's Geghamavan settlement. This municipality had recently sent a letter demanding Pashinyan's resignation. Saghatelyan used to be a shareholder of Shiman Ltd which is no longer active.

The street demonstrations, organized by the former regime and its allies, continue. They demand Pashinyan's resignation and the appointment of their candidate Vazgen Manukyan as the Prime Minister for the duration of a year, after which they agree to hold new elections. ARF leader Artsvik Minasyan said they don't plan to discuss snap elections with Pashinyan. "Right now, our only demand is Pashinyan's resignation. We demand SIS to immediately hold every criminal accountable". The demonstrators gathered in front of the SIS building to present the demands. https://armenpress.am/arm/news/1039316.html

felony case: ex-HHK MP charged with armed attack on ex-IRS official
In August of this year, Russia extradited a former HHK MP Alraghatsi Lyovik to Armenia. He was wanted for allegedly burglarizing and shooting at a senior IRS official a decade ago. At the time, his case was "frozen". It was relaunched in 2018. (magic wand) NSS says: suspect Lyovik, with the help of citizens AK and AN, organized an armed burglary against IRS Chief (?) Avetisyan in 2008. AK was in the United States. In 2004, he stole $150,000 from jewelry shops in Los Angeles. He got caught but managed to flee to Armenia. Once in Armenia, AK colluded with policeman AN to organize a similar criminal ring in Armenia. [MP] Lyovik personally knew AK, and learned about their burglaries. Since Lyovik had bad relations with the IRS chief (victim), he decided to punish the victim by urging AK to burglarize his house. Lyovik revealed the plot to his brother-in-law, who happened to be the victim's personal aide. The latter gave all the personal habits and details about the victim to the burglars. [read the article for the full story, or wait for a Hollywood movie in theaters near you] The burglars and organizers are charged with felonies. https://www.armtimes.com/hy/article/203835 , https://youtu.be/brdozVbwQ6A , https://factor.am/274836.html , https://armtimes.com/hy/article/183522 , https://www.armtimes.com/hy/article/203835 ,

Vitalik Balasanyan will return the lands, kicks junkies, and restrict Facebook
Artsakh President Arayik earlier announced that he will allow his opponents to take jobs in the new coalition government. Kocharyan-ally Vitali Balasanyan became the Security Council chief. Vitalik: we will return Hadrut and Askeran region with the help of Russian and Armenian military-political efforts. We are in a better situation now to solve territorial issues. We will soon create border guard forces. It will report to MoD, which will report to the Security Council (his office). Drugs have no place in Artsakh. Drug users must quit or leave Artsakh now. We need to return to traditional values of giving women as wives after asking if the man had served in the army. No public official will be allowed to use Facebook during work. search operations are paused / the "welcome to Azerbaijan" sign
Azerbaijan received criticism for refusing to allow search teams to enter the Hadrut region yesterday. They also prevented UNESCO from checking the status of several Armenian cultural sights, after complaining that UNESCO was "biased" against Azerbaijan during the war. HR Ombudsman: Any untrue information can not be a reason to disrupt the humanitarian process [referring to unconfirmed rumors on social media that Armenians opened fire at Azeris in Hadrut. An unofficial Iranian social media channel claims 3 Azeris were killed but due to an internal fight.] The Human Rights Ombudsman also criticized the Azeri troops for installing a provocative "welcome to Azerbaijan" sign on part of a road that went under Azeri control near Syunik borders. The Ombudsman says it's meant to intimidate the locals. https://armenpress.am/arm/news/1039233.html , https://armenpress.am/arm/news/1039237.html , https://armenpress.am/arm/news/1039244.html , https://factor.am/325511.html
Context: BHK MP Naira Zohrabyan referred to the majority of Armenian voters as human trash *(or as she says: impure), and called for the establishment of forced re-education camps so people won't vote for a "wrong party" again. The ruling QP party launched a process to terminate her chairmanship in Parliamentary Human Rights Committee. Read yesterday's thread for more details.* QP MP Arthur: the law states that the Parliament can appoint and terminate the chairman. The termination of this seat does not require the same procedures as in the case of MPs and Judges. Armenian Constitution states that in Armenia, human beings are of the highest value, and inalienable human dignity is the inseparable basis of their rights and freedoms. MP Zohrabyan's public conduct is against it. // The law gives the second-largest political party the mandate to appoint the chairman of this particular Committee. BHK, being the second-largest party, said they wouldn't appoint a replacement if Zohrabyan is voted out. QP MP Arthur: per rules, if BHK refuses to appoint a new candidate, the largest (QP) party will receive the mandate. // Parliament voted 78-4 to terminate Zohrabyan's chairmanship. BHK and LHK did not vote. BHK MP Zohrabyan: this termination was a Constitutional crime. https://armenpress.am/arm/news/1039245.html , https://armenpress.am/arm/news/1039264.html , https://armenpress.am/arm/news/1039304.html , https://factor.am/325132.html
Parliament votes: registering parties becomes easier / ideology instead of person / financial transparency
The goal of this reform is to have political parties that are more about ideology and less about an individual. The reform will boost internal democracy within parties; it will expand the powers of the Party Assembly. Parties will be required to add more anonymous voting mechanisms. The law also requires more financial transparency. The required membership to register a party is lowered from 800 to 300. Some of the public funding given to political parties will depend on the % of female members in the administrative boards. Parliament voted 99-1 to approve it. https://armenpress.am/arm/news/1039270.html , https://youtu.be/bPuZViCCCxo
Parliament votes: monthly fees towards soldiers' recovery are raised

Parliament votes: ban on public smoking is delayed until 2022
The govt had adopted a law to ban smoking in public cafes and the public display of cigarettes in grocery shops. The ruling party wanted to delay parts of the bill that were set to go into effect in January, citing possible financial issues for businesses caused by the pandemic. QP MP: the cigarette industry pays $383 million to state coffers. Healthcare Ministry: it will be a mistake if you delay this bill for the sake of $10 million in tax revenues. Parliament voted 86-0 to delay the anti-smoking bill until 2022. https://armenpress.am/arm/news/1039295.html
Parliament votes: no tax on goods donated to Armenia
QP MP: When you donate a charitable product to the Republic of Armenia, you are exempt from customs duties and other tax payments, except for one payment, which we are trying to exempt with this bill as well. // Parliament voted 80-0 to approve it. https://armenpress.am/arm/news/1039297.html

daily life in Syunik bordering villages Shurnukh and Vorotan
A return to gaming in 2020: catching up on a missed decade.
Prior to this year, it’s no exaggeration to say that the only game I’d played in full since about 2010 was the original BioShock. Not really sure why I stepped away from gaming - probably just some usual combination of life getting in the way and dodgy prioritisation. Then, like many others, I became acquainted with a boatload of surplus indoor time this year, and chose to find my way back with an N3DS and a Switch. Turns out I really missed it. I’ve been slowly playing through a variety of titles I missed the first time around, as well as various others I’ve stumbled across along the way. In compiling this list, I have learned that my gameplay times are crushingly slow, people have extremely strong opinions about the Paper Mario series and actually it turns out a really poorly specced PC was holding me back from gaming all this time. Would love to hear what others thought of this selection of games, especially those who hold dissenting opinions about my DNF list (I expect plenty in support of Xenoblade, lol). Be warned this is all through the lens of someone who is plainly just thrilled to be back in the fold and has zero concerns spending way more time than necessary to complete games! I suspect I have more patience and rosier-tinted glasses as compared to the average weathered gamer, so would also be interested to hear how my experiences stack up in the wider gaming context. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between WorldsTotal play time: ~30 hours Zelda factored little in my adolescent years, and apart from renting OoT a handful of times for the 64 (and spamming bombs in SSB) this is pretty much the only Zelda experience I've had. It's kind of a blessing and a curse, from what I can tell: I have none of the hangups but equally none of the emotional connection that often seems to accompany the franchise. I really only played this because it had been given to me and came highly recommended. But this was about as good as introductions get - sure, it helped that this was essentially the first console game I'd played in its entirety in over a decade, but the game is clearly exceptional by all accounts. It seems I love a good gameplay mechanic where it doesn't tip into gimmickry, and the wall merge system I found novel, baffling and satisfying without ever being too frustrating. I obviously can't speak to the nostalgia aspect of it, but coming to it fresh was a charming experience. It's pretty hard not to be at least casually familiar with aspects of Zelda lore, and I liked that there weren't any lengthy cutscenes (looking at you, Ōkami) or tedious tutorials to slog through. The storytelling is a little naff but not distractingly so, and for me the pretty predictable ending was offset by the fun final boss battle. And you sure do feel good solving some of those puzzles. I'm not yet game to branch out into the open world of BotW, but I'm pretty glad my maiden Zelda foray was this one instead. More games ought to allow one to become a painting. Highlights: big bomb flower lols, boss battles that were satisfying / a great relief to complete Ōkami HDTotal play time: 50:57:29Completion %: 50/100 stray beads I remember seeing promo material for this game back when it was first released and thinking the brush mechanic was dope - a hype disproportionate to the amount of PS2 I owned (none). So regardless I was probably always going to be predisposed to like this game. This was the first game I finished on the Switch and I enjoyed it immensely. The art style is killer and helps it look great for a game of its age into the bargain, the brush mechanic and the puzzle element it introduces feels integrated rather than gimmicky, and the storytelling is rich and humorous. I know others have commented that the game is overly long, but I enjoyed being in the world enough that it never felt a slog. (This coming from someone who has played 100+ hours of Picross but…) I will agree that the combat system was pretty whatever, though. I am a pretty rubbish gamer by conventional skill standards and even I found this game wildly easy, but I think that also speaks to my enjoyment of the game as an all-round narrative experience rather than pure mechanics. An additional dishonorable mention for having to fight Orochi no less than three times?! Sure, going back in time was a pretty neat narrative arc and I could forgive repeating the fight in that context, but by the Ark I was sure they had to be taking the piss. Unlocking the additional skins gives this game some replay potential for me, especially the photorealistic wolf, laughable only in hindsight. The existence of about twice as many stray beads as I collected also means I may dip in and out in future, but mostly I have minimal desire to bring my dragon-head-whacking count up to 48. Nevertheless, a pretty inimitable experience, even if it took me a decade and a half to get there. Highlights: the dang art style, drawing an emoji face for my demon mask and seeing it show up again in Sei-an City Paper Mario: Sticker StarTotal play time: ~30 hours I can understand the criticism of this game: the combat system sucks and makes traversing through the world often not very fun, the characters are unmemorable, the necessity of having certain stickers to win certain fights is infuriating, the plot is generic, the lack of levelling up is nonsense. None of that stopped me from enjoying this game, though! Take that! As always, this was probably helped immensely by the nostalgia I carry for the original Paper Mario on the 64 and the fact I hadn’t really had any other Mario games to compare it to for a long time. The super vitriolic abuse it seems to cop online feels a bit disproportionate but. From poking around the series, it looks like one that people are particularly vocal about, with the only correct answer being “TTYD is the best game in the series and all other future titles will be held against this specific benchmark”. Honestly I’m just glad I played this game without the knowledge of what the gaming community thought of it, because I don’t think this is a genuinely bad game. Kirby: Planet RobobotTotal play time: ~20 hoursCompletion %: 81% Evidently I rather enjoy the cute-thing-in-a-mech-suit genre, between this game and Gato Roboto. But I have very fond memories of playing The Crystal Shards and am a Kirby main (lol) in SSB so I could probably be coerced into playing literally any Kirby game. I don’t have too much to say about this game; I think anyone familiar with the franchise will understand pretty much how it plays, but the mech suit mechanic is a heap of fun, with copy abilities possible both in and out of the suit. There were some little details that I thought were quite fun: the collection of stickers that you can use to decorate your mech was bonus entertainment, the variety of gameplay styles in the final boss battle, the remote control Kirby in the casino levels. It looks great, it’s charming, and as mentioned, I like an idiosyncratic feature that isn’t gimmicky, and I think the mech suit ticks that box. I picked up Extra Epic Yarn off the back of this, too - it just looks so dang sweet. What the Golf?Total play time: 08:24:56Completion %: 97%Total strokes: 11656Games I subsequently want to play: Superhot If there ever was a time for escapism, the middle of a pandemic seems to be a pretty good candidate, and I am certainly guilty of using this game as a bit of a feel-good salve. But what the golf, it was a grand old time, and I think we can all use the laughs it provides. I bought the game off the expectations set by the trailer and was happily not disappointed. This is a pretty straightforward game by all standards: simple overworld, three levels per stage, emphasis on silly in "silly physics". It feels like the schtick should get old pretty fast, but there's enough sly nods and references (and straight-up gameplay duplication) to keep it fresh and consistently funny. Caveat: pun disdainers avoid. It's the perfect game to dip in and out of - none of the stages are particularly long, and while some of the pacrown levels can be a bit frustrating, you're not at all forced to complete them in linear fashion. Nevertheless, I played this game in pretty lengthy stints, so the format isn't a barrier in that sense either. I know this is a fairly new game to the Switch, but it's been out on PC for a while it seems. I bought it only having seen it in the eShop, so if there was a hype train, it did not make a stop at my station. Highlights: the Superhot levels, WHAT?, the constant anticipation of what a button press would do in a new level Ori and the Blind ForestTotal play time: 14:44:46Completion %: 96%Total deaths: 488 It’s something of a classic, and evidently with good reason - I think I would have played this game for its art alone, but of course its reputation has since come to precede it. It runs really smoothly on the Switch, and the platforming is tight and enjoyable. Not sure how common it is in the wider world, but I really liked the save mechanic - as a chronic saver, I rather appreciated being responsible for setting my own save points, especially when it came to some of the more challenging sequences. I expected to struggle a lot with this one but I found the challenges fair, even the escape sequences, much as I may have wanted to burn down the Ginso Tree on the first few attempts. Feels like most people who’ve had an eye on it have played it by now, and there’s plenty of reviews out there for those on the fence to decide either way, but personally I’m very glad to have played and finished it. I’ve since been told that both the sequel and Hollow Knight eclipse this game, though I do have some idea of what to expect from both. Now if Will of the Wisps could just get a Switch port... MosaicTotal play time: ~3 hours I’d been wanting to pick this game up because a friend of mine had a hand in its creation, but I kind of could not have picked a worse time for it. Without spoiling anything, the premise of the game is being stuck in a very boring corporate dystopia, and a lot of the gameplay revolves around the repetition of your daily routines. Obviously this kind of experience can already be a little harrowing at the best of times, but in the middle of a global pandemic where time feels completely immaterial it was often a bit much. Certainly the gameplay won’t be for everyone; there is a lot of walking around in this game, and you can interact with various depressing billboards and your smartphone in ways you think might have some kind of a purpose but ultimately formally contribute nothing to your game - so in that sense, it’s kind of a bang on expression of its premise, though its messaging can be a little on the nose at times. If you’re into the visual style and can get down with the premise, this is a unique gaming experience which is both lovely and deeply unsettling at times. If you’re at all curious, the website gives a fairly clear mission statement of the game. Gato RobotoTotal play time: 05:23:28Completion %: 78% Short and sweet, this one, and looks and feels great. I’d never really picked myself as one for metroidvanias, but this game came onto my radar after Ori and I was looking for a shorter, punchy game in a similar style, and this delivered on expectations. As mentioned, I’m kind of crap at games, so the difficulty for this one felt about right for me. There were a handful of times the boss battles threatened to tip into frustration, but mostly it was just my timing being off (second stage of the mouse battle in the heater core comes to mind) as well as in the earlier parts of the game where I had just been lax in picking up healthkits. I’ve seen some complaints about it being too much of a Metroid clone, but you can’t get down with that criticism if you’ve never played Metroid *taps head*. Its short length seems to be another frequent comment, but if you’re going in with expectations suitably managed then I think there’s not too much to fault otherwise. But of course this is coming from someone who has played basically no metroidvanias in their life lol. And finally, my DNF list:
Katamari Damacy; abandoned after ~4 hours Heartbreaking for this to be on my list, but I am part of the small percentage that gets enormously motion sick from this game. A huge shame, because it’s one of those games I’ve wanted to play for literal decades now - I pushed through the first couple of levels but I just can’t make it work for me. The theme song has nevertheless taken up plenty of real estate in my brain.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3D; abandoned after ~2 hours This is probably a contentious choice to have on a list like this, though I clearly haven’t really given this a fair shake either. I think it’s probably partly to do with the learning curve of its rather involved format? Thinking of swapping this version out for the Switch one instead in the hope that might make it a bit more accessible to me.
Where the Water Tastes Like Wine; abandoned after ~2 hours The premise of this game is great, and I like its rather non-standard approach in defining what a game should look like, but it just plays so goddamn slow. I found travelling across the country extremely frustrating - none of the options were really any good - and it’s unfortunate because that makes up far and away the largest part of what you spend your time doing in this game. The voice acting is also great, but it never takes anywhere near as much time to scan the dialogue as it does to read it aloud, so most of the acting gets lost behind an A button mash anyway. I want to love this game, but I just never find myself wanting to reach for it.
Child of Light; abandoned after ~2 hours Call me petty, but I just could not manage to get past this game’s unbelievably naff rhyming dialogue. It made me want to skip through all the cutscenes and gave me no desire to attempt to follow the story. I thought the battle mechanic was quite interesting and enjoyable - not sure if this is common to other games in the genre, but it was new to me - but between the dialogue and an art style I didn’t really care for, this one’s been left by the wayside.
Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap; abandoned after 01:48 I played the original Wonder Boy on a Sega Master back in the day and figured a remake of another game in the series might be fun, but I couldn’t really get into this one. Felt like it was going to be a bit grindy for my tastes. I do think it looks great and switching between the art styles is cool, but I don’t think I’ll be doing much more than dipping in and out, if even that.
Anyone had this Issue playing on the Xbox Series X?
Was playing online on the Series X, no complaints gameplay wise its great as expected. Ran into a little issue however, I was playing the diamond casino heist with some friends and if I died (I was the host of the game) The lobby would disconnect and place me in a solo lobby. This happened every time, even died on purpose a couple of times to troubleshoot. Wanted to know more about this. Thank you in advance!
The True Flip Casino is centred around a mythical place known as the World of Flip, and the idea is that the inhabitants of this world will give you lots of prizes and perks throughout your stay in this virtual world. The first of these offers is the Welcome Bonus, which also happens to be the largest bonus offered by the site. When you join for the first time and make a qualifying deposit, you can collect a 150% bonus of up to 40 mBTC. You will also be given 50 Free Spins. If you’re playing with traditional currencies, this equates to a maximum of €300, and you need at deposit at least €20 to qualify. The playthrough rate is fixed at 35x and this must be cleared in 10 days before it can be withdrawn. If that period passes, the bonus expires and you lose your chance to collect. All real money slots count for 100% of the wagering requirement. Table Games are 5%, while Video Poker and Live Casino titles don’t count at all. Once you clear this first deposit bonus, you can collect another one, known as the Second Wind. It works in a similar way but is matched to just 50% for a much larger maximum of 0.5 BTC. Deposit 1 BTC and you’ll get 1.5 BTC to play with—a very generous offer indeed. The Lucky Three bonus serves as your third matched deposit offer and gives you a maximum of 0.5 BTC. All in all, you can collect more than 1 BTC in bonus credits or, if you’re playing in fiat currencies, the maximum is €1,000. >>Register Here and Get No Deposit Free Spins<<
In addition to the Welcome Bonus, all True Flip Casino players can participate in unique games, tournaments, and more, while also collecting loyalty prizes. There are regular Free Spin Bonuses, Reload Bonuses, and more, but these change all of the time, so be sure to check on the Promotions page regularly. The tournaments are one of our personal favourite additions to this website. It invites players to join real money slot tournaments whereby every spin awards points and boosts the player up the leaderboard. We’ve always had a soft spot for these events as you don’t need to pay to enter and you lose absolutely nothing by taking part. If you were planning a slot session anyway, just join the tournament and in addition to those real money earnings, you may collect some prizes. Of course, hundreds and even thousands of other players have the same mentality, so you won’t be alone and winning won’t be easy, but True Flip Casino doesn’t operate with the sort of huge player numbers found elsewhere, so you have a greater chance of walking away with a prize. >>Register Here and Get No Deposit Free Spins<<
True Flip Token
True Flip Casino is unique as a Bitcoin-friendly casino as it has its very own cryptocurrency, known as True Flip Coins. You can buy these through links placed on the site, links that will direct you to a leading currency exchange. These coins were sold following an Initial Coin Offering back in the summer of 2017. The tokens were available for 0.0005 BTC each at the time. That would equate to around $5, and at the time of writing, True Flip Tokens are trading for a tenth of this amount. At the time of the ICO, Bitcoins were roughly a third of what they are now, which means these coins were available for a far more respectable price. 3,000 participants are said to have purchased a total of 6.2 million coins, with the rest of the initial offering being destroyed to instantly increase the value of the remaining coins. If you’re really into cryptocurrency investment and enjoy playing at True Flip Casino, we recommend looking into these coins. However, we’re not here to make investment advice or to speculate, so we can’t advise one way or the other. >>Register Here and Get No Deposit Free Spins<<
Software and Games
NetEnt, Quickspin, Betsoft, and Pragmatic Play all provide quality 3D real money slots for True Flip Casino, and these are just a few of the many developers you’ll find here. Play games like Punk Rocker, Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst, Bells on Fire, Sticky Bandits, and more. In addition, it has games from the Quickfire platform, which is powered by Microgaming and includes titles like the hugely popular, record-breaking Mega Moolah. As for the table games, these include multiple varieties of Roulette, Poker, and Blackjack, including Bonus Roulette, European Roulette, Magic Poker, Jacks or Better, and Pontoon. Thanks to the inclusion of Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play Live, the True Flip Casino Live Casino is vast and diverse, from the sparkly and energetic Lightning series to gameshow classics based on Deal or No Deal, Monopoly, and Wheel of Fortune. It’s immersion at its very best, with high-tech streams, state of the art studios, and a team of friendly and attractive dealers. There is a little something for everyone and all games are supported by mobile. Use the filters in the True Flip Casino games room to explore all of the following types of games:

Roulette: Includes French and American Roulette.

Dice: Includes both Craps and Sic Bo, as well as unique variants like Lightning Dice.
Popular: A selection of the most popular games right now.
True Flip Casino blends cryptocurrency payment options and traditional payment options in a way that is sure to please everyone. Not only can you choose from popular services like MuchBetter and ecoPayz, as well as digital currencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ripple, but you can collect big bonuses and take part in tournaments regardless of your chosen method. All withdrawals are advertised as “instant” and in our experience, they actually are! That may sound like a redundant statement, but “instant” and “fast” are pretty broad terms in the online gambling industry. It’s like “premium” in the food industry—something you’ll see on everything from the finest steaks to the cheapest frozen meals. In many instances, you could swap “fast payments” for “you’ll definitely get your winnings this year”, but with True Flip Casino, it genuinely is quick. We tried traditional currencies and cryptocurrencies and on both occasions, our winnings were available within an hour. If you have an issue with your chosen payment method, just hit the Live Chat icon and speak with one of the company’s very knowledgeable and helpful customer support reps. This service is available to members and non-members. If preferred, you can add the company on WhatsApp (+447441951376) or send an email ([email protected]).
It’s important for online casinos to adopt strict responsible gambling procedures, and True Flip Casino does just that. It gives players multiple options to restrict their accounts, safeguard their finances, and get their gambling under control. Some of the tools offered to problem gamblers include:
Registration Limit: Prevent yourself from ever becoming a True Flip Casino member.
Deposit Limit: Tell the casino how much you want to spend each month and set limits to ensure you can never go above these amounts.
Loss Limits: Instead of limiting your deposits, a Loss Limit will restrict your losses, which means you won’t be forced to stop in your tracks if you are on a winning streak.
Session Limit: Do you find that you take more risks and bet more money when playing for long periods of time? Limit yourself to specific timeframes to prevent this.
Wagering Limit: Restrict how much you can wager per game.
Time Alert: An alert that activate at pre-determined intervals and remind you how long you have been playing. An ideal tool if you find that time flies when you’re gambling.
Game Limit: Are you a dab hand at Poker but always lose money when playing real money slots? Use this tool to prevent you from playing slot games.
Self-Exclusion: When you’re ready to call it a day, use this feature. It will prevent you from gaining access to the site for a fixed period of time.
Online casinos attract a lot of hatred, perhaps more so than any other industry. If you’re been involved with this industry for a long time and have played multiple casinos in that time, there’s a good chance you will have had numerous negative experiences. But how many of these are actually the fault of the casino? Players leave bad reviews when they are required to submit verification information. They leave bad reviews when their country is restricted, they can’t gamble with credit cards, and when they don’t win. These are not the fault of the casino, but that doesn’t stop the deluge of bad reviews. It’s one of the few industries where you can do nothing wrong, go out of your way to please people, and still attract a horde of bad reviews. It’s a surprise, therefore, when sites like True Flip Casino have predominantly good reviews. In fact, we struggled to find any genuine unresolved complaints or scathing reviews, and that’s always a very good sign. After all, this online casino has been active since 2017, which is more than enough time to attract a few angry, frustrated, and/or unreasonable players. True Flip Casino reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Furthermore, the casino makes an effort to respond to all reviews, whether they are offering high praise or pointing out a few minor issues. As mentioned in our many other guides to Bitcoin casinos, this is a very positive practice. It is proof that the casino is dedicated to pleasing its players at all costs. Many casinos don’t do this, and many of the ones that do tend to go about it all wrong. In our Stake.com casino review, for instance, we noted how the casino responds to fewer than 1 in 5 bad reviews and tends to be somewhat combative in these responses. If you want to know how good a casino’s customer care is before you join, take a look at its reviews. Does the company respond and, if so, does it respond directly to the consumer and focus on their needs, or does it write in a way that speaks only to potential customers reading the comments?
True Flip Casino is a very attractive online casino that tries to be different and succeeds. It offers some big bonuses and even has its very own cryptocurrency. Participate in numerous slot tournaments, keep your eye on the value of True Flip Coins and Bitcoins, and play your favourite games safe in the knowledge that your account is secure and your wagers are fair. Join True Flip Casino today to collect your share of the 1 BTC Welcome Bonus and explore this innovative and super-stylish online casino. >>Register Here and Get No Deposit Free Spins<<

Wide Choice Of Games
Live and virtual casino are covered like an astronaut’s hermetically spacesuit. No holes in that offering! As I said, I like slots. They have slots I never even heard of. I didn’t count them all, but it’s got to be easily a thousand. Easily! I feel a bit like Marco Polo on a discovery of new, wealthy goodness. Polo went looking for spices and things. I’m happy with slot discovery. There’s a slot called Marco Polo, by the way. Their casino offerings are backed up by some of the most influential names in the industry, from NetEnt, Bally Wulff, BetSoft, Booming, ELK Studios, Gamomat, iSoftBet, Kalamba, Merkur, Oryx, Pragmatic Play, QuickSpin, RedRake. Booming is my personal favourite provider, so I was pleased to see that Sieger represents that brand so well.
Online slot machines are probably the most famous type of online casino games, and at Casino Sieger, you won't be disappointed because you have a really broad selection of slots. In the next list, I will include the best online slot machines that Casino Sieger has to offer to its players:

Gates Of Persia- the software provider is Bally Wulff, and the RTP is 96.13%
Old Fisherman- the software provider is Bally Wulff, and the RTP is 96.11%

Casino Sieger offers a wide variety of table games:
Blackjack- from the software provider NetEnt
Poker- Carribean Stud Poker and Casino Hold'Em
Baccarat- from the software provider NetEnt
Scratch Cards- from the software provider NetEnt
Roulette- from NetEnt
Casino Sieger has one live casino game, and it is developed by one of the biggest software companies in the gaming industry, and that happens to be NetEnt. Once you have decided to test your luck with this Casino Sieger game, you will be taken to a brand-new screen where you will be able to experience what it's like to have fun in a traditional casino. There will be a live human dealer who will help you with every problem you may experience during the time you play this Casino Sieger game. You can communicate with the live dealer via Live Chat, and he will answer you every question like he did when I played this NetEnt live online casino game. One thing is sure, and that is that I definitely recommend this game to every gaming fan around the world. >>Claim Free Bonus Here<<
Casino Sieger Sportsbook
Among the casino games, slots, promotions, and live casino games, you can see that Casino Sieger has a sportsbook section. You can bet on live games from many countries on basically any sport of your liking. Personally, I like sports and slots. They are a draw for me. The sportsbook is very comprehensive. It’s really all there. I lived in Finland for 10 years. It’s hard to live there and not get well into ice hockey. Finnish Liiga hockey is covered nicely on Sieger, which I was happy to see. Also, soccer, basketball, boxing, darts, e-sports etc. Coming from a software background, I really appreciate the well-designed and immersive quality of the interface. Being able to bet while the game’s still on, is also great. On the following list, I will share with you on how many sports you can bet at Casino Sieger:
Having a variety of payment methods is crucial for any online casino who wants to stay on business for as long as Casino Sieger has. Now, I will tell you what withdrawal methods Casino Sieger has to offer to its gaming fans:
Bank Wire Transfer
The time which takes for withdrawal is in this list:
For E-Wallets, it takes from one to two business days
For bank transfers, it may take three to five business days
For cheques and credit cards isn’t offered
The deposit methods of Casino Sieger are these ones: Euteller, Entercash, MasterCard, Neteller, Paysafe Card, Skrill, Trustly, Visa, Wire Transfer, Zimpler, Sofort Banking, SafetyPay, PassNGo, Bancontact/Mister Cash, Giropay, Przelewy24, MultiBanco. Also, the banking options are available in one currency: the Euro. >>Claim Free Bonus Here<<
Casino Sieger Customer Support
The customer support team of Casino Sieger will help any player across the world, but the main focus would be to help the players from these countries:
The support staff will be there to answer questions also in English, and you will be in a position to communicate with the support team via live chat and e-mail, which is great. You will have the opportunity to contact the staff every day of the week and any time of the day, which gives the players the notion that Casino Sieger definitely cares about them. In a situation where the live chat perhaps isn't available at the time, there is one special section at the Casino Sieger website which I found to be extremely helpful. That is the FAQ or frequently asked questions where you will find a list of some common questions. I can tell you that particular section at Casino Sieger is there to answer the questions regarding:
Specifics of the promotions
To add, the customer support team was very friendly with me, and they always answered my every question like the professional they are.
You can set up the website on a couple of languages, and people who are able to speak the following languages can play games at the Casino Sieger website:
Being able to attract more players is a goal that every casino wants to keep fulfilling. Some players like to play their favourite online casino games from their homes, and some enjoy them on the go. Now, the players who have the following devices can play Casino Sieger games:
They’re In The Business Really Long
Since its launch in the year 2009, Casino Sieger has been and stayed in the gaming business for quite a while. Casino Sieger received an insignificant amount of complaints, but all of them were not serious, so I can say with certainty that this online casino is pretty reliable given the fact that it didn’t have any major issues, even though the casino is present on the gaming market for quite a while. The immediate and initial draw; I liked the simple, uncluttered layout of it. It’s rather plain-looking. I mean that in a positive way. Yes, since when has the word “plain” been a positive attribute? Well, there’s a lot to be said for plain. I like a good plate of spaghetti, but it doesn’t mean I want that kind of disarray on my casino website. CasinoSieger.com is easy to navigate. It’s effortless to find what you want. It looks like it was designed by players for players. That would certainly be my presumption, anyway. It looks good on my mobile, too. All in all, it’s a good place to while away the hours and enjoys solid entertainment. >>Claim Free Bonus Here<<
WARNING Partypoker scammed me for 104.659€. Be cautious if you got money on there, especially if you are from Germany.
I also posted this in scams (and this is a repost as my original on is still pending a few days in) as i want to let as many people know about the business practices of Partypoker / GVC: I want to warn other gamblers about Partypoker. They basically stole more than 100k of my money, 50k of which were deposits. They can do this really easily, especially in Germany (as I will explain later). This warning is not just about Partypoker as the parent company (GVC) holds more big brands. For example: Bwin Ladbrokes Coral ..... I played there for 2 or 3 years. I was also constantly increasing my wager over time. At the end of october 2019, they locked my account and put it under security review. They also ask for documents which I already had sent in before. Nevertheless I sent them again. After some emails back and forth they gave me my christmas gift. This is the original Email: "Dear XXX, We are contacting you regarding your partypoker account "XXX". An investigation into your account has highlighted suspicious activity related to your account. This activity is in breach of points 4, 6, 13 and 16 of the terms and conditions of partypoker. The full terms and conditions are available at: https://help.partypoker.com/en/general-information/legal-matters/general-terms-and-conditions As a result, your partypoker account has been closed and the funds remaining in your account will be confiscated. Please be aware that you are no longer permitted to create or use any account on the partypoker network. Kind Regards, Poker Operations Team" They quoted half of their terms and stole my money. I ask for a reason and for proof, which was not given at any point. By the way I was not playing poker but casino games, most of the time Black Jack, not even card counting, which they might deem as illegal (which it clearly isn't). I also messaged the regulators in Gibraltar, they took a few month and also basically said they are fine with the way party handled the situation, at least they said what they are accusing me of: This also is the original email: "Good morning XXX, I write with regards to your complaint against Party Poker. Please be advised that I have been in dialogue with Party Poker on the matter, who have provided me with a detailed and technical report with regards to your account. I have also made my own enquiries. The substantial and technical material that I have seen indicates that your account is being operated by a third party who is the controller of a series of accounts for the purpose of systematically abusing promotional bonuses. Your account is de facto a proxy account. There is strong and clear evidence that the identity used on your account and the identities used on the other accounts are all associated. The controller of all accounts knows that they are prohibited from operating any account either directly or indirectly. I will not disclose how all of the accounts have been detected as to do so would be to the detriment of Party Poker and to the advantage of those that seek to circumvent its security protocols. Nevertheless, further information on the Gambling Commissioner’s views on ‘bonus abuse’ can be found here: https://www.gibraltar.gov.gi/finance-gaming-and-regulations/gambling-commissioners-advice-complainants#ancla8. I am satisfied that Party Poker is acting appropriately and in accordance with its terms and conditions and I am unable to recommend that it pays you any monies. This is my Proposed Determination to your complaint. I am also forwarding Party Poker a copy. I am now inviting you and Party Poker to comment on this Proposed Determination. It is also the opportunity for both parties to bring to my attention any facts or issues either party believes I have omitted or misunderstood in my assessment. Regards, John" Again no evidence was given. It's also hard to defend myself without getting presented with the evidence. This by the way is complete bullshit, I always have used my account myself and nobody other than me was using it. I think they used fabricated evidence to not pay big players. It was even worse than that: They baited me to play there with a 10% cashback offer on my losses. Before End of November I lost many weeks in a row. Most of the time 50k €. They had a ponzi scheme like promo going. Letting me play until I finally win and when don't pay me anyways. No risk for the house at all, they keep the money no matter the outcome (deposits included). The Gibraltar Gambling commission is also highly corrupt. They basically don't even want any complaint to get in at all. You can't submit a complaint online. You have to print several pages and fill out everything by hand. They will also ignore your claims until you get really annoying with all your reminders and messages you sent to them, then they will decide in favor of the casino. I can't even sue the casino, because the legal situation in Germany regarding Online gambling and Online casinos without a licence is fucked up. I consulted many different lawyers all telling me not to sue them, because my chances of winning are slim, not because partypoker is right, but because this is deemed illegal gambling and I basically can't get any money back. Even in case of winning it would not be clear if i can get any money back, because Gibraltar is not in the EU where i could enforce GVC to pay what they owe me. A judge friend of mine even advised me not to sue, because Gibraltar is too corrupt and the legal fees are astronomical. So neither in Germany I can get what's mine nor in Gibraltar (most probably). Basically Party knew about the loophole in German law and exploited it. I think especially German Players are in danger, no way they could get away with this in Great britain for example. CLIFFS: -Partypoker stole almost 105k of my money (half winnings, half deposits) with a far fetched explanation, which I only got from the regulators after filling a complaint. At no point any evidence was shown. -The regulators also decided not to hold partypoker accountable. -Partypoker also used a ponzi like scheme to bait me in and take my money as long as i kept losing, once i had a big upswing, they kept my winnings and deposits anyways. - Partypoker also knew about a loophole in German law about illegal Gambling and exploited it, in order to get away with "confiscating" (stealing is a better word) my entire balance.

Once again, I'll start off with I responded to most in the last issue of revisited. Since the last chapter I've seen a few other posts about the offerwall (Bluedan), and even a shout out / more in depth guide video from Mysidia Gaming. Since my last post, I was in the middle of moving cross country and picked games that had no time limits. I'm thankfully more established in my new residence, and knocked back a few challenges recently. If the desire is there, I may do another post, or perhaps enough push has been done already and these aren't needed anymore, either way, let me know! -- As a bit of an extra preface, most of the games I played this time were base builders, if you aren't aware of them by now, they start off very intensely, and the more time that you're able to devote at the start, the faster your base snowballs and can finish. Expect to put in a few hours at the start, and check back after 2 hours, than 3 hours, 5 hours etc... the time continuously widens. Always try to be building your Main building before you go to sleep, use speed boosters when you wake up and continue etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ State of Survival - Construct a level 12 base. Game is pretty similar to build a base game. It has two types of combat, the first being troop vs troop (which is normal in any base builder game), and the second being troop vs stage (a bit of a twist, only while doing the story iirc), 2 of your units stay back shooting any zombies in range, while the third can move around to fixed points, dodging attacks and having zombies change routes. Potential visiore 1728, this took just 2 days, finished before I saved the girl... some say she's still out there waiting for me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Harvest land - Reach level 20. Decided to try something a little different, this build your island farmsville clone, seems like a nice change of pace at first glance... but quickly was a nightmare to play, nearly every single action you do nets some xp, the more complex, the more you gain... however, you only gain the xp once you pick up your object you completed. So if your food inventory was full (you had 3 different inventories, food, materials, defense), and you had 86 apples on the ground, that was 86 xp just waiting to be gathered. You can try to pawn off your goods once you gain access to the ship that goes to other players islands, but this was usually a hassle, if they didn't sell, now your boat is full of whatever, and unless you use gems, you can't remove them or change their price. You also had npcs come to your island asking for a combination of goods, yielding xp and money, sometimes worth it, usually not. Who wants to give up the mats needed to continue base growth for 57 xp? when I needed over 4000. If you do decide to play this, the wandering merchant that visits your island is very worth it, either he asks for gold and gives gems/goods, or asks for gems and doubles them, or usually materials to help upgrade your inventory. Potential visiore 768, for the amount given this wasn't worth it, I played about 1-2 hours a day for a full month and didn't even come close to completing this challenge. I hit 14/20, and the bell curve for xp was jumping up way faster than the actions I was gaining through rank ups or base building. Again, would absolutely skip and never look back. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ King of Avalon: Dominion - Construct a level 13 base. Very basic base building game, nothing wild about this, join a guild, portal to where your other members are, and build up in solidarity. Potential visiore 1980, 1 1/2 days. Played several build a base games, unless they do something special or different, they really blend together. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Evony: The King's Return - Epic tier or historic tier hero. A build a base with a different mission, ok, let's take a stab. The two biggest things to note are 1, building a base to 9 or higher drops your safety shield, and 2 epic tiehistoric do NOT show up in the tavern until rank 11. Unlike some base builders, the requirements for ranking up weren't to build everything. What I mean is you didn't need level 5 farm to build a level 5 tower to build a level 5 embassy to build a you get my point... it was always walls + something, so getting to 11 was pretty quick, this part only took 1 day. The problem came into play with the cost of an epic tier hero... Which was conveniently waiting for me, when I looked into the tavern, sadly she cost 10 million gold. Your city doesn't generate gold, you get a npc city that does (and can get up to 2 more and higher rarity versions, but I was way too weak to capture any, I got obliterated against a normal when the combat information said I'd easily win), and you have event quest rewards. Gathering the gold took nearly 8 days in itself, my npc city made about 15k a day... however, there's currently an event going on to touch friendly goblins on the map for treasure, opening them has a chance at 10k or 50k gold. There's also greedy and golden goblins on the map, they drop 100 - 200k gold, yet I was never powerful enough to challenge them. What I can say though, is that the game was very generous with items for resources and time skips, at one point I had 1000x 5min skips, used them all, and a few hours later had 500x 10m skips, at one point i had 50x 60 min skips. I did level my base and tavern to 13 (higher tavern had higher chance for better rates to show up. Why didn't I go higher? The requirements needed specific research among other things, and not knowing or prepping beforehand... I'd have needed to research about 8 things before getting to that point... guess what researching takes? Gold... Potential visiore 3982, 8 days to complete. Unfortunately this game vanished from my list, and didn't pay out (I completed both epic and historic), so I begrudgingly deleted it without being bound or taking pictures. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Guns and Glory - Construct a level 12 base. Normal build a base, pretty generous on resources and time skips. Nothing fancy or special here, probably a step back or 3 from Evony... I didn't even have a resource collection button, had to manually collect from everywhere. There are however a couple of codes that work giving you a nice hearty boost (20x 60m speed ups among other stuff!), I'll list below. You'll lose protection starting to rank up to 9, so keep that in mind. After a few quests you'll get a free 24 hour vip activation, use it, this alone lets your buildings be autocompleted from the 6 minute mark... MOST buildings can be built to 5 instantly, through the codes and other events, I managed at the end to have vip level 3, which really helped the start more so than later. Potential visiore 1152, 1 day to complete. I actually stumbled on the codes at the very end, you're locked out from trying codes for HOURS if you fail to successfully input codes, the first list I found online were old and outdated. All four codes give the exact same thing, no complaints though, they were very much worth it. Portrait in the upper left > settings > redeem code. Jianhaogog icrimaxgog historygog abkgog ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On a separate note, I got an email yesterday stating that a challenge I initially did that was rejected got overturned 2 months later... thanks Idle Heroes. Just goes to show that you should indeed send those reports in and all the unedited pictures you can, and be prepared to wait a long long time, it may just pan out. Do note, that you have to send in the initial complaint within 30 days of your challenged completion. supersonic- customer support @ ironsrc.com added a few spaces in case emails get wonky. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lastly, a guild member decided he wanted to play a bunch of the casino games, he stumbled onto this site that has a LOT of chips/coins/tokens/etc for many of the casino games listed. Maybe it's the final push to complete a challenge, maybe it's the thing you wanted to take that stab at one. https://www.peoplesgamezgiftexchange.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In case anyone needs their memory jogged, to see if a question was answered previously, or didn't get a chance to see the video Mysidia Gaming did and was curious, see below. https://www.reddit.com/wotv_ffbe/comments/hymb6b/offerwall_revisited/ the original post https://www.reddit.com/wotv_ffbe/comments/i1gnom/offerwall_revisted_part_2/ part 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yK6H8PWYluA Mysidia Gaming's video, pretty much a walk through of 2 of the challenges, he said he'd consider making more videos if the desire was there... however, I'm unsure if a second was made. EDIT he did indeed make a part 2, and a part 3! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqAy7aA4vBI part 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hZ0-PJjr40 part 3
Open letter from a group of Russian-speaking LitRPG-authors
How Iceland, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands became a haven for cyber-criminals. We are a group of Russian-speaking independent writers living in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the United States, writing in the genres of LitRPG, RealRPG, fantasy and science fiction. We are united by a rejection of piracy and infringement of intellectual property rights. Each of us is an ordinary person who devotes all his free time to his favorite pastime. We are not millionaires or published writers swimming in money. Each of us started from scratch and made our own way by publishing on the Internet. We are currently publishing our books on Russian literary portals https://author.today, https://litnet.com and https://www.litres.ru. Thanks to these sites, we got the opportunity to sell books without going through publishing houses. This is the main difference between us and Western authors, who have the opportunity to go Indie and successfully sell Kindle/Amazon to a multi-million audience. Thanks to the readers who support us by purchasing our books. Thanks to them, some of our books have become known not only among Russian-speaking readers, but also in Western countries. Our books have been translated and are being translated into English and German, due to which fans of the LitRPG and RealRPG genres are familiar with our work all over the world. Nevertheless, for many of us, selling books to Russian-speaking readers remains the only source of income. Book translations can cost up to $10,000-$12,000, and the costs do not always pay off. None of us make huge amounts of money. On average, our monthly income does not exceed $700. One of the key problems for Russian-speaking authors is the theft of their books and their illegal publication on pirated resources. Books are stolen at the stage of writing, often depriving us of the opportunity to work fully. Criminals deprive us of the opportunity to receive normal wages for our work. At the same time, the “pirates” themselves earn on advertising posted on their sites. Often this is illegal advertising - on such sites you can find advertising banners of illegal online casinos, services of prostitutes, pornographic services and a lot of other advertising prohibited by law. Some of the criminal resources use Google Adsense at all. The largest of these sites is https://flibusta.is, with its main mirror https://flibusta.site. On the first, there is no advertisement, but the second is completely filled with advertising banners. This is a well-known criminal resource, which publishes not only books by Russian-speaking writers, but also books by famous Western authors in different languages. For example:
In addition, there you can find books by almost any famous writer in his native language. No countermeasures from hosting companies should be followed. Imagine that Andrzej Sapkowski’s books were stolen at the dawn of his writing career and that they were publicly available. They would refuse to delete them, due to the fact that the writer lives in Poland. Sapkowski himself, in order to feed his family, got a job as a sales manager. The world would lose the famous writer and the world of The Witcher. Because of the greed of the owners of pirate sites and the devil-may-care attitude of hosting companies that refuse to comply with the same laws for everyone. The “pirate” site https://flibusta.is uses the services of the hosting company Orange Website (https://www.orangewebsite.com) from Iceland, and its “advertising mirror” https://flibusta.site uses the services of the French hosting company Scaleway (https://www.scaleway.com). The site https://flibusta.is is the base of stolen books and a kind of center around which a huge number of sites of smaller criminal gangs revolve, which automatically download books to themselves. We have sent complaints to both hosting companies. Scaleway reacted absolutely formally. We had to send several complaints to get our books blocked on https://flibusta.site. And so for each individual book. On average, four requests were required, since after the first, all illegally published books remained in their places. Orange Website responded that the company does not obey the laws of the European Union or the US DMCA and will ignore any complaints until the Icelandic court is ordered. They know very well that we are not in a position to provide financial support for lawyers and the legal process in Iceland. Therefore, such an answer sounded like a mockery. Both hosting companies are calmly working with cyber-criminals who caused colossal damage to Russian-language LitRPG-authors. We believe that if it was a violation of the rights of writers from France or Iceland, they would certainly react as required by law. But they don't give a damn about the rights of Russian-speaking authors. These companies seem to care more about money from digital criminal gangs. Among other hosting companies that support piracy and completely ignore complaints under the DMCA or EU Directives, three can be distinguished:
Zomro (https://zomro.com). A hosting company with an office in Lithuania. Several dozen pirate sites have chosen this hoster's servers as a haven for illegal content. In response to complaints, the company redirects to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]), but there is no response from there.
NovoServe (https://www.novoserve.com). The company from the Netherlands hosts a total of at least forty criminal sites. As an example, we can give a small list of similar websites:
Some of these sites simply publish our books, while others sell them illegally, taking advantage of their complete impunity. The well-known criminal site https://librusec.pro, which openly sells stolen books, uses Wholesale Internet hosting, hosted in the USA (https://www.wholesaleinternet.net), which also does not respond to our complaints, despite the criminal nature of their clients' work. obvious. We should also mention the messenger https://telegram.org, the support of which does not even consider it necessary to respond to our complaints. There are hundreds of channels out there where people discuss the best ways to steal books and coordinate their activities there. An excellent messenger has turned into a den of criminals who feel great as the support team takes no action. At the same time, the messenger is registered in the USA and must comply with the DMCA law, but does not respond to complaints. Unfortunately, criminals are more important to them than Russian-speaking writers. We have exhausted all available methods of influence. Now there is a situation where cyber criminals are destroying modern Russian-language literature and at the same time feel completely protected from any consequences. Hosting companies from the European Union work with them in flagrant violation of DMCA law and EU copyright directives. The only thing that remains for us is to make this situation public, in the hope of a public reaction and possible interest from the police of the countries in which these hosting companies operate. These types of criminals require more public scrutiny than legal claims. We are asking you to post this open letter, or material based on it, wherever possible. Our main task is to attract public attention and, if possible, the attention of law enforcement agencies to the activities of hosting companies that condone piracy. To clarify any information, you can contact us through the writers' profiles on Facebook or by Email. If you have read to the end and are wondering why all this. We are confident that the LitRPG community is full of smart people with competencies in a variety of areas, including copyright laws. If you can advise which intellectual property protection agency or lawyer we can turn to, that will help us a lot. In addition, perhaps this case will be of interest to someone from the media who will help us. The authors who signed this open letter:
bCasino was founded in 2019, and it is among the few recently founded online casinos offering transparent terms and conditions, attractive bonuses, and a plethora of titles that meet the ever-growing players’ demands for entertaining and profitable games. Let’s see how it stacks up against the competition.
bCasino Layout and Navigation
bCasino game content is distributed across a .co.uk domain accepting UK players, and a .com domain where players from all the other eligible countries can play. You might find some differences in the design, but in general, the site is user-friendly and easy to navigate through. The main tabs containing the game categories are founded at the top of the main page. On the right side of your screen, you will see a Help tab. Promotions are on the left. All additional pages such as the Bonus T&C, Banking, and Contact are to be found at the bottom of the main page. >>Register Now and Get Free Bonus<<
bCasino Welcome Bonus
Depending on the country you reside in, you can claim different bonuses. UK players are eligible for claiming a welcome bonus of up to €1200 upon the first three deposits they make. The bonus funds become withdrawable once the 30x wagering requirement is met (deposit + bonus). To qualify for the bonus, the minimum deposit you have to make is €20. The max amount you can cash out from the bonus is €5000, which is pretty generous given the fact that many casinos limit the max bonus cashout to €500. Note that only players who deposit via debit/ credit card, are eligible for claiming the bonus. bCasino runs various weekly promotions for UK players. For example, if you deposit €10 on Tuesday, you get a total of €25 to play with and so forth. So make sure you log into your account regularly and check the ongoing promotions. As for players residing outside the UK, the welcome bonus is comprised of up to €1200 upon the first three deposits + 100 free spins on selected slots. The wagering requirement is the same – 30x your deposit + bonus amount. Only debit/ credit card depositors are eligible for claiming the bonus. Similar to the UK version, the .com version offers different daily and weekly promotions to new and existing players. Free spins are a subject to a x25 wagering. The max amount you can cash out from the free spins bonus is €100. >>Register Now and Get Free Bonus<<
bCasino Game Library
The first notable difference between the .co.uk and the .com version is that only UK players have access to live casino games. The live casino is powered by Evolution and offers more than 50 game variations. The slots we recommend to the UK players are Volcano Eruption Extreme, Money Meat, Mighty Wilds, Bork the Berzerker, Platooners, Winning Wolf. There are also five roulette variations – Roulette with Track, Roulette Master, Astro Roulette, Double Zero Roulette, European Roulette, French Roulette, as well as five Бlackjack variations – Blackjack Atlantic City Single Hand and Multi Hand, Blackjack Monte Carlo Single Hand and Multihand, and Double Exposure Blackjack. Despite the lack of live casino, the game catalogue of the .com version is significantly larger featuring well over 1000 slots and table games.
bCasino seems determined to stand out from the hundreds of mainstream casinos. So, it provides games courtesy of Booming, Betsoft, NextGen, Fugaso, Elk, Playson, Lightning Box, BetDigital, Wazdan, Ainsworth, Irondog, Heap, 1×2. Please note that the games, developed by some of the above-mentioned game suppliers, might not be playable from your jurisdiction. >>Register Now and Get Free Bonus<<
Deposits and Withdrawals
The minimum amount you can deposit at bCasino is €20. the minimum withdrawal is €20, too. The UK players have a bit limited choice of deposit options, but still, the available ones should suffice. They can make fast and secure deposits and withdrawals via Visa, Maestro, Neteller, Skrill, ecopayZ, instant banking, pay by mobile, paysafecard. Players from the other eligible countries have twice as many payment options at their disposal – Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, Astropay, Euteller, Giropay, Sofort, EPS, Interac, Trustly, Online Uberweiser, Neteller, Skrill, Ecopayz, Muchbetter, Upaycard, Neosurf, Cashlib, Flexepin, paysafecard, zimpler, siru mobile, local/ international bank transfer. The casino management aims at processing all withdrawal requests within 3 business days, although it may take up to 7 business days for the money to show up into your bank account. It depends on the payment method you settle for as well as the weekend and holiday closures of your bank.
Security and Regulation
bCasino.co.uk is managed by GS Technology Limited that holds a UKGC license. bCasino.com is operated by Green Feather Online Limited. The latter is a MGA licensee. In other words, bCasino is overseen by the two strictest online gambling watchdogs, and its legitimacy can hardly be questioned. In case you are mistreated, your winnings are unfairly confiscated, or you fall victim of tricky bonus terms, you can submit a complaint and count on authorities to investigate the matter and protect your interests. >>Register Now and Get Free Bonus<<
The bCasino customer support is attentive to players’ needs and all customer care agents we talked to were genuinely wiling to help. For now, they are available via live chat between 10am and 11pm, although once the casino attracts a larger player base, the working hours will probably be extended.
bCasino games are tailored to run seamlessly on mobile devices. For best performance, you are advised to update your browser and OS to the latest version and make sure you have unlimited data plan / strong Wi-Fi signal. >>Register Now and Get Free Bonus<<
This is an example of fundamental DD that takes place at ‘smart’ money institutions based on my professional experience in IBD, Private Equity & most recently at a HF (mods can message me for proof). Not thoroughly fleshed out b/c you autists have limited attention spans, but a summary. Figured I’d take the time to give back to this community that has provided many lolz, & should be a good measuring stick when evaluating other forms of fundamental DD posted here. NFA. Total annual US Gambling Revenue: ~$90Bn
Illegal Sports Betting: ~$13Bn
Horse Racing: ~$0.8Bn
Daily Fantasy Sports: ~$0.4Bn
Only ~2% of the ~$90Bn gambling revenues were placed online which is the lowest in the world where betting online is legal. For example, in other countries online gaming activity represents ~6% - ~52% of total gambling revenues, with ~12% being the average. Wall Street expects online gaming revenue to be $20Bn-$40Bn within the next 10 years. For this to be achieved, the online gambling market will have to achieve a ~30% penetration rate on total country gaming revenues. There is an expectation that this is could be easily achievable given penetration trends overseas - see page 11 of this: https://s1.rationalcdn.com/vendors/stars-group/documents/presentations/TSG-Investor-Day_March-27-2019.pdf Other catalysts include increasing adaptation of sports betting in more states. States that have both legal sports betting + online sports betting permitted: NV, NJ, WV, PA, IA. Sports betting permitted but no online: DE, MS, RI, MO, AR. Prior to COVID there was ongoing discussions across many States, especially ones with growing deficits to explore how permitting sports betting could create a fresh avenue of tax dollars. Post COVID there is an expectation that these discussions will be given extra focus as many States will be hungry for incremental tax dollars. Important to note that currently 43/50 States allow DFS, but given the small share DFS has on total Gaming Revenues, it increasingly looks like DKNG is banking on traditional sports betting for a variety of reasons, more later. There are entire articles on Google arguing this catalyst so I’ll end this here. Digging Deeper DKNG’s main offerings are Daily Fantasy Sports (“DFS”) products & traditional sports book products to its clients. Long story short, a metric to look for in my opinion (that is curiously not reported by management or remarked on) is the hold % in traditional gaming sector parlance or the ‘rake’ & compare it to the ‘traditional’ gaming products like sports betting & Blackjack. For DFS: DKNG takes ~15% of the prize pool (note: used to be ~6-11% ). Curiously, their main competitor FanDuel also has moved up to a ~15% rake recently. Google searches show the smaller competitors have a rake in the ~13% range. This ‘rake’ has grown ~2x in 6 years, but it has been a delicate move on behalf of management. Why? B/c the more ‘sophisticated’ DFS players (equal to autistic day traders on Robinhood) have noted this increase & based on some Googling, some have moved down market to the smaller players. As a side note, many live casino games have their rules altered to grow the Hold %. For example, Blackjack games with 6:5 payouts on 21 have materially higher Hold % than the traditional BJ rules that pay out 3:2. Given the findings so far, DKNG may not have much room to materially increase its hold % in DFS games in the near-term from current of 15%. More on this later. Now why the fuck is this important? This is important b/c the typical sports book (ex-Parlays) have a ~5% hold %/rake. Parlays have up to a ~30% hold (which is why it’s commonly known as the sucker’s bet), & just for reference, the average Blackjack table clocks in 14.5%. What this means: Every dollar put into these games, the “House” or DKNG, will take 15% of your money for DFS games, for sports bets they will be pocketing ~5%, up to ~30% if you’re into parlays, & we’ll just use the standard 14.5% BJ hold for the DraftKings Casino platform. So why the acquisition of SBTech & a foray into the traditional sports gambling market? As you can see previously, the illegal sports betting market is >30x the size of the current daily fantasy sports market. So it’s clear that the DFS providers including DKNG are foraying into the space to capture this user base & hopefully convert them into games that have a higher hold %, such as DFS/DKNG Casino. As of May 2020, DKNG has achieved a 30% penetration rate on its ~4mm ‘monetized’ DFS clientele to its Online Sports Book (OSB), from the OSB+DFS clientele, DKNG has converted 50% into its DraftKings Casino platform. Including non-monetized users, user base totals at 12mm. Based on these unit economics: every 1mm of additional users -> 333k monetized users for DFS -> 100k users for OSB -> 50k users for DraftKings Casino. Some Numbers – Italicized/Bolded the important
In total, DKNG has DFS paying clientele of ~4mm, the metric management focuses on is “Monthly Unique Payers (MUP)” which spans across DFS & online sports betting***. As of Q1’20 they reported 720,000*** MUPs, representing +16% YoY growth
Average revenue per monthly user (ARPU) of ~$41, +11% YoY
Based on previous observation of Hold %, looks like ARPU growth will be limited
Since ’17, MUP has grown at a ~11% CAGR & ARPU has grown at a ~19% CAGR
As a side note: the ~4mm monetized user base was acquired at ~$122/user over 3 years. Total users cost them $41/user over the last 3 years .
They are currently EBITDA negative & Wall St expects them to be positive by 2023
I took a dive into the math driving this, here is a summary:
Based on their current cost structure they will need to have ~1.7mm MUPs at an ARPU of ~$46 to break-even. This implies total monetized users of ~10mm from ~4mm currently
Numbers that represent Risks to Long Thesis
DKNG’s user base of ~12mm is on the low end of the sector vs. its ‘brick & mortar’ competitor's user bases (online betting platforms with physical casino presence)
CZR with 55mm, MGM with 33mm, ERI with 10mm (in pending merger with CZR, could have a lot of overlap), FanDuel with 8.5mm
Is there a concern for increased marketing costs to increase user base? Let’s look at a case study of NJ, the first state to open both mobile & retail sports betting:
FanDuel + DraftKings have held 80%+ of the OSB market share since 12/2018 which is estimated to be driven by the conversion opportunity from DFS that is unique to both companies
On the flipside, a case study to examine going forward is how DKNG can get OSB customers in a State that does not allow DFS. Nevada. Home to Las fucking Vegas. Prior to NV pushing FanDuel/DKNG out (highly likely due to casino lobbying), NV was a top-15 State in terms of revenue for them. NV is home to the fattest sports book in the US, & recently the gaming commission started to parse the data on sportsbook wagers done online vs. in-person, & it came out to roughly 50/50. It will be interesting to see how they try to capture market share in a state with no DFS
Long-term EBITDA margin target of 35% requires huge growth in MUPs
Based on their estimated '22 cost structure: Holding ARPU of ~$46, MUPs will have to be ~5.2mm, a 7x increase from current to achieve a EBITDA margin of 35%
A focus on future earnings will be management's ability to shift to a more fixed-cost structure which would effectively lower the MUP requirement for profitability
Things to look for when going Long - Progress of additional States legalizing sports betting – specifically, States with DFS already legalized - Cost structure evolving to a more fixed mix vs. the mostly variable mix currently as this will be the forward figure that determines profitability - Increasing User Base (Curr.: 12mm) -> Monetized Base (Curr.: 4mm) -> MUP (1Q’20: 0.7mm)
Management seems to be focused more on the first step, but one thing to note is that the 33% monetization rate is very high when compared to something like League of Legends which isn’t entirely comparable but in 2013 had a ~4% monetization rate . This, combined with the below implies that this conversion rate may be the ceiling for now
As a side note, ~6 years ago FanDuel had ~300k monetized on an ~800k user base for a monetization rate of ~37%
Share Price Target Given the cost structure of the company, I’m going to base the price targets around Enterprise Value / Revenues (driven by MUPs & ARPUs).
MUP sensitivity of 5mm - 6mm
ARPU sensitivity from $41 - $47 for an average of $44, just a $3 increase from current of $41.
Share Price targets based on 2.0x - 4.5x EV / Sales.
Note: Flutter Entertainment (FanDuel ParentCo) trades at ~3.6x EV/Sales
Bear Case MUP: 5mm -> $20.32 - $45.73 Base Case MUP: 5.5mm -> $22.27 - $50.10 Bull Case MUP: 6mm -> $24.21 - $54.47 These MUPs imply a monetized customer base of 28mm – 33mm. At the high-end, this implies that DKNG monetized customer base will equal MGM’s current total user base. At yesterday’s close of $43.70, DKNG is trading at 3.5x – 4.5x forward Revenues on an expected >5,000 MUPs. Share Price drivers / considerations: - Continued multiple expansion
Consideration: A 1x premium to FanDuel's 3.6x, implies a ~15% upside to current. They're bigger than FanDuel, do they deserve the premium?
- MUP Growth exceeding beyond targets
Consideration: Stock currently implies that they should on average be growing at 40% QoQ – during 2018 they had on average +30% growth QoQ in MUPs, marking their best year
Management Team Jason Robins, 39 – Co-Founder & CEO. Duke BA, started DraftKings from day 1 in 2011. The 2 other buddies he started the Company with are still at DKNG. Dude navigated the Company through the scandal that rocked them in ’15 & ’16, and was the trailblazer in getting DFS labeled as a non-gambling product that enabled it to open in States without a gaming designation. This shit is the stuff that gets people in history books. His accomplishments make him seem like a very competent guy. Has 3 kids now, and only ~3% economic ownership in DKNG but has 90% of the voting power through his Class B share ownership. Also he actively participates in venture investments, sitting on 10 boards. His comp plan performance bonus target is pretty murky, but main drivers are EPS growth, revenue growth, then a bunch of margin & return metrics, along with share price returns. Overall, very open-ended & it’s safe to say as long as shit doesn’t hit the fan, he will be eligible for his max payouts year over year. I’m assuming the lawyers tried to encompass everything possible for maximum flexibility to justify him earning his max comp as long as DKNG is still around. Since he’s got voting control of 90%, I’ll end the specific-person overview here, but want to note that they have a very bloated C-suite. 12 folks at DKNG, 8 folks at SBTech, all with C-suite designations. Whereas their main competitor FanDuel, has 3 guys with a C-suite designations & 1 EVP, but is a sub under a larger ParentCo that has its own management team of ~5 guys. Looking through glassdoor you can see the biggest complaint among employees giving bad reviews is based on management, all of the specific issues they point out IMO are a result of a top-heavy company. Seems like a good starting point to optimize their cost structure, but given Robins' history of sticking this entire thing through with his co-founders since '11 stuff like this doesn't seem to be a part of his playbook. They’re a public company now though, so it’s going to be interesting to see going forward. TL;DR: If I were to initiate a position in DKNG, the stock would have to fall to the $35-$37 range for me to be a buyer of the stock, and based on this rough intro analysis I'll be considering Put options if it breaches $50. I would not touch Calls at this level.
